Water Baptism

We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion in water in obedience to the Word of God. All those who have

accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior should be baptized in water as a public profession of their faith in Christ.

It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Saviour, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to the believer's faith in the final resurrection of the dead.

Acts 2:38 says, “Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift the Holy Spirit ".

Matthew 3:16-17 says “As soon as Jesus was baptized he went up and out of the water”.

At Living waters Church we believe that once “you are born again” through the waters of baptism you can part take of the Holy Emblems. The bread symbolizes and represents Jesus Christ's perfect body which he gave on behalf of mankind, and wine represents his perfect blood which he shed at Calvary which redeems fallen man from
inherited sin and death.

Holy Communion is administered to the congregation on the first Sunday of each month.
